FOCUS Pittsburgh seeking medical personnel for philanthropic work to help the needy
FOCUS Pittsburgh has embarked upon a mission with the help of God to establish a Medical/Dental/Psychosocial Service clinic in the heart of Pittsburgh’s Hill District. A needs assessment study was performed several years ago which documented the fact that over 60,000 people in Allegheny County are uninsured because they lack the financial means to purchase health insurance. As a result their overall health status is compromised. The mission of the medical team of FOCUS Pittsburgh is to promote the physical and mental health of the uninsured. In order to accomplish this task, they are extending an invitation to all health related personnel to join our team of volunteers. They will need an army of volunteers to make this happen and are searching for men and woman with a health related education that spans the entire spectrum of the health field; from primary care physicians to sub-specialists, surgeons, dentists and dental assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, dieticians, pharmacists, psychologists, social workers, electronic health care specialists, information technology experts, and health care administrators. If you have a heartfelt desire to help the FOCUS Pittsburgh ministry with this mission, please contact Dr. Rocco Adams via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, email address, phone number and your occupation and your area of expertise. Thank you!
