The FOCUS Food Ministry Team has been assembled and we kindly ask all churches to support the Focus Emergency Food Bank
Program. The goal of our ministry is to provide food and personal hygiene items to those in need. As Orthodox Christians, it is our duty to stand up and fight hunger one family at a time. Our ministry will serve the Greater Pittsburgh Area and we look forward to working with our local churches and the surrounding communities.
We ask that every parish supply two containers, one for food and one for personal hygiene items, which can be displayed in high
traffic areas of the church. The Food Ministry Team will donate two FOCUS Pittsburgh stickers which can be placed on eachof the boxes with the goal of filling them with the following items:
Cereal, Macaroni & Cheese (Easy Mac), Canned Fruits and Vegetables, Tuna, Pasta, Rice, Beans, Peanut Butter, Soup, Chili, Stew, Fruit Juices, Ground Coffee, Hot Chocolate, etc.
Personal Hygiene Items:
Toothpaste and Toothbrushes, Floss, Toilet Paper, Diapers, Deodorant, and all other items those are necessary to maintain good
personal hygiene. With your help and support, we are confident that we can help those in need and show them the true beauty of the Orthodox Faith. Thank you for your consideration and may God continue to bless you and your parishes for many years to come! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us:
