A performance of sacred and secular music from the African/African American Tradition, under the direction of Dr. Anthony Leach:  Tickets:  $25.00/person, recommended for ages 10 and above.  Pre-sale only.  Contact Kathy Balouris at kabalouris60@gmail.com or 412-610-1952.  A portion of the proceeds benefits Holy Trinity’s Capital Campaign.  Donations of non-perishable food items will be accepted at the concert to benefit FOCUS Pittsburgh, a local chapter of FOCUS North America, a national movement of Orthodox Christians united in finding a solution to poverty.

St-Anthony Greek Orthodox Church served as the center of Hellenism and Orthodoxy for the earliest Greek immigrants in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Today, it remains a regional historical landmark and is celebrated twice a year, on its feast week in January and once in the summer. All proceeds go towards the maintenance of this unique historical landmark of Orthodoxy.  Schedule:  7:00 PM – Thursday, January 16, 2014, Panegyric Vespers; 9:00 AM – Friday, January 17, 2014, Orthros and Liturgy, His Eminence, Metropolitan Savas, presiding and celebrated by area clergy; 9:00 AM – Sunday, January 19, 2014, Orthros and Liturgy, immediately followed by a hearty winter meal with Greek traditional food overtones.
